The HP that I got is about 1/2 the price of a comparable MacBook! As for Windows 7 -- meh. So far it doesn't seem a whole lot better than Vista. There are some nifty little features of the interface, but nothing earth-shattering. I wouldn't rush right out and buy an upgrade for an existing computer, but I wouldn't hesitate to get it with a new computer (as if you have any choice now, anyhow...)
